Read the story sentence
Choose the English meaning. Use the whole sentence, not one isolated word.
咖啡店里很忙。
咖啡店里很忙。咖啡店里很忙。
kā fēi diàn lǐ hěn máng.
The coffee shop is busy.
Why this works: Read the sentence as a unit. Stories teach word order and rhythm, which a plain word list conveniently forgets to teach. If you can map a full sentence to meaning, you are learning structure instead of just collecting words.
Common trap: Do not translate one Hanzi at a time. The answer is the meaning of the full sentence, including word order and context. Story sentences teach flow. If you only hunt for one familiar word, you will miss the sentence.
